The storyboard

The storyboard

In the first few shots, the kidnap victims are shown walking on their own in a secluded area. Wide shots will be used to show the victims and their surroundings. These shots will be mixed in with the titles showing the production company, the director and the title of the film. The film will then move to an interview between a detective and a suspect. Mid shots will be used to show the two characters and close ups will be used to show reactions and facial expressions.

The film will then return to the two victims as the kidnapper abducts them. Very wide and wide shots will be used so that the audience feels far away and unable to identify the villain and feel helpless as they are unable to help the victims. It will then return to the interview where the detective puts on a DVD which contains footage of the two victims tied up being held in a basement. Mid shots will be used as they will show the fear on the victims's faces but whilst still giving an impression of their surroundings.
It finally returns to the interview where the detective asks the suspects where the victims are being held and it ends on a cliffhanger as the suspect replies with 'that's for you to find out.'
